A regulator in the valve incorporates a thermostat for mixing the hot and cold water to the desired temperature. The valve maintains selected water temperature to within 1 degree F regardless of changes in the temperature or pressure of the hot or cold water supply. Chrome, Satin Nickel & Polished Brass finishes have a one year limited warranty. Old World Bronze and Old World Copper are "living finishes" and may be plated with metals and/or oxidizing agents applied to achieve its' mellow finish. This finish frequently changes with use or touch making each faucet unique. "Living Finish" faucets are warranted for workmanship only and there is no warranty on the finish.
