DESCRIPTION:This American Bath Factory acrylic clawfoot bath tub is the first of its kind to offer a full-blown whirlpool system inside a Victorian clawfoot tub. The clawfoot bath tub maintains the look and integrity of a traditional cast iron tub but is lighter, warm and smooth to the touch, and will not rust or crack over time. From American Bath Factory: This clawfoot bath tub is crafted from two 1/4" sheets of high-quality cast acrylic, bonded together with a patented crushed stone/resin compound to give these tubs thickness, strength, and weight. They literally make two bathtubs, an inner shell and an outer shell. This process produces a bathtub with the same unmatched high-gloss shine inside and out. There are seven fully adjustable TurboFlow jets, including two uniquely placed foot massage jets and one rotating back jet. The jet trim will match the tub interior. Close-up of jetThe Caspian has a concealed 2 hp motor behind a sound-insulated door that uses 11.2 amps. You have the option of a left or right side pump (sitting in the tub with your feet at the drain end), allowing the best position for the motor to be hidden from view. Our prices include packaging, freight, and residential delivery. There is a liftgate service option available for an additional $200. This service is provided by freight companies that allows the cargo to be lowered from the truck to ground level by a mechanized platform. When the driver lowers the crate to ground level you must arrange to have the tub brought into your home. If you do not add the liftgate service option to your cart, you will also need to arrange for the tub to be lowered from the truck at the time of delivery.
