Takagi - Takagi T-M1 Mobius Water Heater (23.6in H x 18.5in W x 8.9in D) - T-M1

Takagi T-M1 Mobius Water Heater (23.6in H x 18.5in W x 8.9in D) - T-M1
Takagi

The T-M1 can meet heavy-duty commercial or large residential demands with manifolding capabilities of up to 20 units and generates up to 192 gallons of hot water per minute. The T-M1 offers the highest BTU's available of all Takagi units.

At 235,000 BTU per hour, the Mobius T-M1 is Takagi's largest model, with an average efficiency of 82% with natural gas and 85% with propane. At a /T of 60??F in warmer areas - for example, where the winter ground water is 60??F and with the output set at 122??F - the unit will provide a 6.4 GPM, or 384 GPH.

In colder areas where the input temperature may be 40??F or less, expect a flow rate about 4.5 GPM, or 270 GPH.

The T-M1 can provide at least three showers' worth of water simultaneously along with one appliance at input temperatures of 60??F or greater.

The venting system for this unit is not convertible to direct vent and requires that makeup air be provided. Please refer to "Accessories" for more information on venting options.

Mobius T-M1 units can be combined to offer a fully modulating, boiler-type system. Up to 20 units may be installed in parallel, using the TM-RE20 multi-unit controller and the TM-RE10 temperature controller. All heaters up to 20 units will fully modulate, from as low as .75 GPM, or 25,000 BTU per hour; to as high as 128 GPM, or 4.7 million BTU per hour at 60??F ?T.

In terms of boiler language, each modulate has a turndown ratio of 9.4:1. As a result, combining 20 units equates to a 188:1 turndown ratio - a tremendous savings compared with an average boiler. This very powerful system is ideal for sports clubs, hotels, apartment buildings, hospitals, etc. where hot-water volumes are high and flows are variable.

The Mobius T-M1 is built to last in even the most rugged on environments, whether installed inside or outdoors. Like all of Takagi's heaters, the unit features all copper and brass waterways, stainless steel burners and epoxy-powder coatings to resist rust and corrosion. Yet the high compact Mobius weighs in at a trim 70 pounds and occupies only a little more than two cubic feet of space. In short, the T-M1 packs a powerful punch in a comparatively small package.

The four preset temperatures on the unit are: 113??F , 122??F, 140??F, and 182??F. To achieve any temperatures other than those presets, the user will require the TK-RE10 temperature controller. This controller is optional on a single T-M1 installation and required on multiple installations.

  • Technology to meet today?ÇÖs demands

From bathroom to kitchens, the latest trends in home design all add up to one thing: a growing demand for hot water throughout the home. With an average soaker tub holding 70 gallons of water, today?ÇÖs homes need more than an old-fashioned 50-gallon tank of hot water to keep up. They need the consistent, never-ending supply of hot water you can get with a tank-less hot water heater from Takagi.

  • Up to 50% energy savings

Not only does Takagi provide you with plentiful and endless hot water?Ǫit does it in the most energy-efficient way possible. Instead of keeping a whole tank full of hot water while you?ÇÖre not using it, Takagi instantly heats only the water you need.

A Takagi tank-less heater can pay for itself in energy savings alone. As of January 1st, 2006, homeowners are eligible for a $300 federal income tax credit by installing energy-efficient water-heating units from Takagi

  • A legacy of innovation and dependability

For more than sixty years, Takagi technology has been efficiently heating water in homes around the world.
