Housing Features
- Designed for sloped ceiling installations for ceilings from 2/12 to 12/12 pitch.
- The socket mechanism allows the lamp to be aimed straight down regardless of ceiling pitch.
- Lamp socket and trim can be adjusted 20 degrees laterally for compound slope ceilings or to compensate for off axis aiming.
- Air-tite fixture sealed and gasketed to prevent airflow between attic and living areas.
- For installations where housing will be in direct contact with ceiling insulation.
- Integral thermal protector guards against misuse of insulation materials and improper lamping.
- Junction box is listed for through branch circuit wiring and has seven 1/2" knockouts and four Romex knockouts with integral strain relief.
- Plaster frame includes locking screw for hanger bars and cut outs for crimping hanger bars into position.
- Pre-installed captive bar hangers allow housing to be positioned at any point within a 24" joist span.
- Can be field shortened for 12" joist.
Installation
- 7-3/8" height allows use in 2 x 8 joist construction.
- Housing accommodates ceilings up to 1-1/4" thick.
- Requires 6-1/2" ceiling opening.
