The hardwood is first sanded to a smooth finish and then painted or stained with a special multi-coat application. This process includes a top coat sealant with UV protectant ensuring a beautiful, long lasting finish.
The 2 1/2" wood slats are 25% larger than 2" wood slats yet are still resistant to warp and very easy to maintain. Yet they cost MUCH less than the national brands. You'll get all necessary hardware, safety tassels, and easy-to-follow installation instructions.
Due to the one-day production time, the options are more limited compared to other 2 1/2" wood blinds, but you won't sacrifice quality.
