Garrity Industries is known in the flashlight industry for its innovation. Blazing the path, not following is the Garrity Way. The creator of the first disposable flashlight, the first rubber flashlight, the first to include batteries, and the first to use clam shell packaging, Garrity Industries has become a leading World-wide manufacturer of a broad range of disposable, refillable, and rechargeable flashlights and lanterns. While others imitate, Garrity innovates!
Garrity Industries has 12 manufacturing/warehousing facilities worldwide and more than 2,000 dedicated associates who take great pride in the innovations that have made us a success.
Chairman and CEO Paul Garrity Sr. founded Garrity Industies in 1967 and in 1969 introduced the first disposable flashlight, the Life Lite. In 1991 we supplied hundreds of thousands of Life Lites for Operation Desert Storm. In 1996 Life Lites were used during both the opening and closing ceremonies of the Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta.
