Theatre has been a part of his life from the time he was about He got involved in school and community theatre productions. He left Labrador at 17 to pursue a career in musical theatre, studying at the Randolph College for the Performing Arts in Toronto. After graduation he stayed in Toronto until about two years ago when he went home to Labrador City for a summer. He knew then he wanted to stay in the province, but not in Labrador as acting opportunities are limited there.
